Recipe | Freshly Squeezed Lemonade

Whilst I was in Dubai I got a real taste for lemonade. Not the fizzy, gassy kind, but the fresh, zingy type! There was just something about the bittersweet, refreshing taste that left me wanting more. When I thought about it, making fresh lemonade didn’t require any complex ingredients, nor would it take much time to make. So I decided to give it a go myself. View Post

Fashion | Joules Polka Dot Wellies

Last month I spontaneously entered a competition with Office to win a pair of Joules wellies and was lucky enough to actually win it! For the chance to win, you had to tweet Office with your best winter style tips. My main reason for entering in the first place was because I wanted to share the funny tip my mam told me back when I used to walk to school in the winter. It sounds pretty bizarre, but when it rained or snowed she told me to put sandwich bags on my feet before putting on my winter boots to prevent my feet from getting wet. View Post

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to attend the prestigious award ceremony in London that is the Drapers Independents Awards 2014. Since starting my job at Visualsoft almost three years ago (how time flys!), I have always gotten excited seeing my clients get shortlisted for a Drapers award. Last year Little Mistress brought home the bacon by winning the award for Young Fashion Brand of the year. This year, another one of my fabulous clients was up for not one but THREE awards at the Drapers Indies and that was Collectif, a specialist in vintage reproduction who managed to take home the award for Niche Fashion Brand of the Year.
