Advent calender Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for – the first day of advent! There’s no better feeling than  knowing you have a solid four weeks where eating chocolate for breakfast is actually acceptable. With it being my first Christmas in my own house this year, I knew my mum wouldn’t be buying me an advent calendar which made me think about a new way to countdown for Christmas. Whilst I was tempted by the Yankee Candle calendar and the Lush 12 days of Christmas calendar, my creative side was itching to make an entrance. Nutella Chocolate TrufflesLast Friday we had our annual bake off at work to help raise money for Children in Need. Instead of going down the traditional cake route, I thought I’d try making something I’ve never attempted before – chocolate truffles. After receiving a large jar of personalised Nutella for my birthday, I decided to make use of it and make some scrummy truffles with an added kick. View Post

Osiris facial scrubAbout a month ago, I graced the tiles of Lidl in a bid lower the cost of my weekly food shop. Now that I’ve got my own house, I finally realise how expensive food shopping can really be (sorry mam!), so after many recommendations to visit Lidl or Aldi for low priced yet high quality produce, I decided to test it out for myself. Never in this world did I think I would be faced with a skincare product priced at 99p that I genuinely feel has transformed my skin into a silky smooth haven. View Post
