Back in October Adam and I booked a dream trip to New York City. We originally looked to book for later this year around September time but the deal we found was too good to ignore. Despite only having four months to save and plan, I think we’ve done a pretty good job of it. It can be daunting to think if you have planned your trip well enough and saved enough money to enjoy yourself without restriction so today I’m sharing my advice and tips for planning your first trip to New York, along with some money saving tips to help you before you hit the big apple. You might have noticed I’ve been absent from my blog and social media in the run up to Christmas, this is because I’ve been enjoying the festivities here, there and everywhere! Last Christmas my mam treated my dad and I to an epic trip to London. Not only did we get to spend the weekend in the capital, but we also got to stay on a super yacht! Moored at the Docklands of Royal Victoria Dock, the Sunborn London is the UK’s only luxury super yacht hotel. View Post
As we approach the busiest time of the year for me with my birthday and Christmas celebrations coming up, I’ve been reminiscing on last year’s trips and excitement that accompanied the winter months. Last year I had the pleasure of visiting Winter Wonderland and attending the Royal Variety Performance in London, I got the ferry to Amsterdam and my final holiday of the year was a 4 day trip to Berlin. Looking back on my photos from Berlin there’s so much I still need to share with you all, I’ve simply not had the chance to! Today I’m talking about one of the highlights from my trip to Berlin and a must for any of you visiting the German city in the near future. View Post
Last weekend I took my first trip to Cleethorpes to see Adam as he’s working down there for the next few months. When I arrived I was chuffed to see how central Adam’s apartment is to everything – including the seafront and a Wetherspoons! This was my first of many trips to the seaside town; I’ve already planned my next trip for a couple of weeks time. From Middlesbrough to Cleethorpes it is a 258 mile round trip which means I’ll have to take extra care on the roads and make sure my car is fit for the journey each time.
