Travel | Myths about Dubai + How to Pack for your Trip

Earlier this week I arrived home from my holiday in Dubai. We previously travelled to Dubai in 2012 to watch the Formula 1 and it was hands down the most beautiful, exciting place I have ever visited. Dubai is a Muslim country and is known for its strict laws however I wouldn’t let them put you off from visiting this amazing city. The laws are not actually as strict as people make out, it’s just about being respectful of others. Below I’ve put together a few myths that are often said about Dubai along with the truth. Fashion | What I Wore to the Drapers Indie Awards

Last week I went to the Drapers Independents Awards 2014 (you can read all about the event here) so I thought I’d share with you all what I wore to the prestigious event which took place in the big smoke earlier this month. View Post

Events | Drapers Independents Awards

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to attend the prestigious award ceremony in London that is the Drapers Independents Awards 2014. Since starting my job at Visualsoft almost three years ago (how time flys!), I have always gotten excited seeing my clients get shortlisted for a Drapers award. Last year Little Mistress brought home the bacon by winning the award for Young Fashion Brand of the year. This year, another one of my fabulous clients was up for not one but THREE awards at the Drapers Indies and that was Collectif, a specialist in vintage reproduction who managed to take home the award for Niche Fashion Brand of the Year. Fashion | For Love and Lemons

I love coming across new brands, especially ones from overseas because they offer something a little different compared to our usual British brands. One brand I have discovered recently is For Love and Lemons which is based in LA. I’ve been stalking them on Instagram for a while now but it was only recently that I decided to take the plunge and actually make a purchase. View Post

Lifestyle | Archers Ice Cream Yarm

Sundays are made for eating, relaxing and sleeping away your hangover and last Sunday that’s exactly what happened. After a late night the evening before, me and my mum arranged to take a trip out for a traditional Sunday lunch at The Masham in Heartburn Village (if you haven’t been, I strongly recommend that you do – the beef melts in your mouth!). After our lovely midday lunch, we decided to take a spontaneous drive over to Yarm to have a little wander around the high street. Unfortunately most of the shops were closed, however we managed to have a good mooch around some lovely little charity shops. View Post
