So today I’ve got a relatively healthy milkshake recipe for you. For those days when you’re trying to be good but are craving something sweet, this banana and Nutella milkshake should see you through those weak spots in your day!
Lately I’ve been really struggling to eat well and have been eating more sugary snacks than I should have been. My sweet tooth is out of control; the more I eat, the more I crave! So with the recipe I’ve got for you, you only need three ingredients which you will probably already have in your kitchen.
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons of Nutella or peanut butter
- 200ml almond milk (or your own choice of milk)
The healthiness comes from the ripe banana and almond milk whilst the naughtiness comes from the Nutella, all fine as part of a balanced diet. You could always swap your Nutella portion for peanut butter if you want to lower the sugar content. To make this tasty milkshake all you have to do is slice up your banana and pop it in a blender along with your Nutella and choice of milk. Blend together for a couple of minutes and you’re good to go!
