It was my birthday on Tuesday and to celebrate the occasion, my gorgeous friends surprised me with a trip to Amsterdam on the ferry last weekend. The last time we visited the Netherlands was for my 21st birthday so for us to go again I was over the moon. Today I’ve got a short and sweet photo diary of our trip to show you what we got up to and show you how much of a beautiful city Amsterdam is.  View Post

Charlotte Tilbury Signed Box

After hearing through the grapevine that the glamorous Charlotte Tilbury was going to be brushing shoulders with beauty fans at a local Fenwick department store, me and my friend Natalie booked tickets straight away. With only 80 tickets available we had to be quick if we wanted to meet and have a chat to Tilbury in the flesh. Celebrating the release of her new instant look in a palette, the British makeup artist came to meet fans, sign some beauty boxes and recommend her products to us. I’ll be honest, before attending the event, I’d never tried any of her products before. However the price we paid for the ticket was redeemable off the products so to me it seemed like a great opportunity to learn more about makeup and have a world-renowned artist recommend makeup products to enhance my face.  View Post

Thaikhun, Metro CentreLocated a mere 40 minutes away from my hometown of Middlesbrough, Newcastle is the closest place to resemble the larger cities down south that ooze opportunities, originality and events. Today I’m sharing some of my favourite student hang outs in Newcastle and some eateries at the top of my list of places to visit the next time I’m in the city.  View Post

Thaikhun, Metrocentre

A couple of weeks ago an exciting email landed in my inbox inviting me to the launch party of new Thai restaurant, Thaikhun. Located in the Qube at the Metrocentre, Gateshead; Thaikhun* offers a casual dining experience that transports diners to the streets of Bangkok. Prior to my visit, I had never tried Thai food before so it was exciting to get a full traditional experience without having to leave the North East.  View Post

Jamie Olivers ItalianLast weekend me and my family travelled up to Newcastle for a night away and a day of shopping. My mum had booked a table for the six of us to try Jamie Oliver’s Italian near the monument in the centre of Newcastle which we were all really looking forward to. I took my trusty camera with me, all set to take some photographs and write a review, so here it is! View Post
