Somerset House at Night

You might have noticed I’ve been absent from my blog and social media in the run up to Christmas, this is because I’ve been enjoying the festivities here, there and everywhere! Today I’m talking about one of the highlights of my travels – spending the day at Somerset House in London with my mam. View Post

Last Christmas my mam treated my dad and I to an epic trip to London. Not only did we get to spend the weekend in the capital, but we also got to stay on a super yacht! Moored at the Docklands of Royal Victoria Dock, the Sunborn London is the UK’s only luxury super yacht hotel.  View Post

Cheese, Wine and Beer Sign

During a trip to London last month, one of the places that were at the top of our list to visit was The Cheese Bar in Camden. After seeing numerous videos on Facebook of bubbling cheese fondue and stretchy cheese pulls coming from the same eatery in London, we decided we had to hunt it down. After arriving in Camden one morning, Adam and I set our sights on The Cheese Bar nestled cosily within the Stables Market of Camden which happens to be an absolute foodies haven!  View Post

Archipelago London

Now this is a place me and Adam have been looking forward to for months. When we booked our trip to London we knew we wanted to try somewhere a bit different to your usual chain restaurants. At first we were looking at celebrity chef restaurants before deciding to search for ‘unusual places to eat in London’ which is when we stumbled across Archipelago, a very interesting restaurant situated on Cleveland Street in Fitzrovia serving up a range of exciting, exotic foods. Ferris Wheel London

IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE! My blog has seriously lacked Christmas posts this December and I’m sorry about that! Whilst it looks like I’ve been a bit of a scrooge, I’ve actually being gallivanting to try and visit as many Christmas markets as I can. The best part about a Christmas market for me is the twinkly lights, the jolly atmosphere and the hearty food! I don’t tend to buy an awful lot from the markets as I usually get most of my gifts online but I love to take in the festive atmosphere nonetheless. This year I’ve visited local markets such as the Stewart Park Frost Fair and the Luxury Christmas Fayre at Gisborough Hall as well as markets further afield like the Berlin Christmas markets and Winter Wonderland in London which is what I’m talking about today.
