The wonderful thing about my mum is that she’s great at finding out what’s going on in our local area. Last Saturday we decided to head over to Teesside Park after hearing about a little food event that was coming to the retail park called Eats from the Street. View Post

Strikes Christmas Event Now that autumn is finally here, I can’t wait for all of the festivities to begin. I’ve came to the conclusion that autumn is probably my favourite season of the year – I just love wrapping up warm and being all cosy. With everything from Halloween and bonfire night to my birthday and the exciting run up to  Christmas, it feels like there’s always something to look forward to. Last week me and my mam attended the Strikes Christmas event so I thought I’d share a few photos from the evening to get you all in the mood for the most wonderful time of the year… View Post

Although it now seems like a distant memory in my head, I thought I would share some of my holiday photos from my trip to Dubai earlier this month. This post is pretty photo heavy but I’ve tried to include the highlights from my holiday and the places I visited that might help other travellers plan their next trip. Hope you enjoy them! Sundays are made for eating, relaxing and sleeping away your hangover and last Sunday that’s exactly what happened. After a late night the evening before, me and my mum arranged to take a trip out for a traditional Sunday lunch at The Masham in Heartburn Village (if you haven’t been, I strongly recommend that you do – the beef melts in your mouth!). After our lovely midday lunch, we decided to take a spontaneous drive over to Yarm to have a little wander around the high street. Unfortunately most of the shops were closed, however we managed to have a good mooch around some lovely little charity shops. View Post

At the weekend I finally got to pay a visit to the cute little tea house named The Olde Young Tea House. After stalking their Instagram account for a couple of months and drooling over their daily bakes, I knew I had to get myself down there. Located in the heart of Middlesbrough town centre, me and my mum decided to take a visit to experience it for ourselves following their recent award win for the National Independent Shop of the Year.
