Cheese, Wine and Beer Sign

During a trip to London last month, one of the places that were at the top of our list to visit was The Cheese Bar in Camden. After seeing numerous videos on Facebook of bubbling cheese fondue and stretchy cheese pulls coming from the same eatery in London, we decided we had to hunt it down. After arriving in Camden one morning, Adam and I set our sights on The Cheese Bar nestled cosily within the Stables Market of Camden which happens to be an absolute foodies haven!  View Post

Bistrot Pierre Bar Middlesbrough

Bistrot Pierre kindly invited me along to visit their new Middlesbrough branch to sample their delectable menu that brings a taste of France to the North East. Serving up beautiful home cooked food that is freshly prepared daily using carefully sourced ingredients from local producers and artisan French producers and suppliers, it’s difficult to tell it’s a chain restaurant when you step foot into the French bistrot.  View Post

Archipelago London

Now this is a place me and Adam have been looking forward to for months. When we booked our trip to London we knew we wanted to try somewhere a bit different to your usual chain restaurants. At first we were looking at celebrity chef restaurants before deciding to search for ‘unusual places to eat in London’ which is when we stumbled across Archipelago, a very interesting restaurant situated on Cleveland Street in Fitzrovia serving up a range of exciting, exotic foods. Pastrami Burger Bread Meats Bread

Before our trip to Edinburgh last month, I asked Twitter for recommendations on where to eat whilst we were there. Georgia of Mapped Out Blog suggested we visited a burger joint called Bread Meats Bread which is located on Lothian Road in Edinburgh. Adam and I are partial to a juicy burger and after much disappointment at Saucy Burger in Sunderland, we’ve been on the hunt for a good burger ever since so we decided to give it a try. Crowned Scotland’s best burger of 2016, it’s got to be good, right? View Post

Seaview restaurant saltburn view

Sometimes the best places to visit are right on your doorstep. With the weather being as unpredictable as ever, it’s been nice to make the most of those rare warm and sunny days. One evening after a long slog in the gym, me and Adam jumped in the car and decided to get some chips for tea (we worked for it!). Whilst Redcar beach is a little closer, I much prefer Saltburn it seems like a real holiday destination despite it being just 15 minutes down the road. View Post
