Scream for Pizza

On the 21st of this month Adam and I went to the Bishop Auckland Food Festival for the second year running in hope to see our favourite pizza van as well as sample food from other local traders. We were praying for the freakish warm weather we’ve been having to stick around for us as we all know the sun makes a day out 100% better! Cheese and Onion Waffle The Clubhouse Rockliffe Hall

Today I’m telling you about my recent visit to Rockliffe Hall* in Hurworth, which is best known for being the home to the North East’s longest world-class golf course and its tranquil spa with impressive surroundings. For New Years Eve I decided to have a quiet one by enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the Garage Spa in Barnard Castle before heading into the town for an Indian meal and finishing the evening with a night at the Morritt Hotel.  View Post

Last weekend saw the arrival of the National Festival of Thrift in Darlington. Hosted at Lingfield Point, the event showcased some of the nation’s best sustainable businesses, craft workshops and mobile eateries.
