Friction Free Shaving - Samantha

I’ve always been fond of subscription boxes ever since I bought my first Birchbox. There’s something really exciting about receiving mail through the letterbox that’s not just another bill or sales leaflet. A couple of months ago I came across a brand called Friction Free ShavingFriction Free Shaving, FFS for short – straight away I was drawn in by their lighthearted approach. Friction Free Shaving is the UK’s first women’s razor subscription box of its kind.  View Post

Marie Claire August 2016

Following the launch of the new 13 piece brow collection by Benefit, the leading brand for brows, Marie Claire are giving away a free 3.5ml sample of the Ready, Set, Brow! Gel in their August edition of the magazine. This year I’ve been on a mission to even-up and shape my eyebrows after too many years of over-plucking them as a teenager. I’ve been having bimonthly appointments at Paleschi for HD brows and wax and tint appointments in between. I finally feel as though I’m getting somewhere with them now – hallelujah!   View Post

Natalie Kennan - North East Makeup Artist

Today’s post is all about one of my closest friends, Natalie Keenan. You might have seen me mention her in my Charlotte Tilbury post a couple of months back, you know the one where Charlotte Tilbury said she should come and work for her?! Yep! Although Natalie’s always loved experimenting with her own makeup and trying looks out on her friends, it wasn’t until the Charlotte Tilbury event that she decided to take the step towards making her dream of becoming a professional makeup artist a reality.  View Post

Charlotte Tilbury Signed Box

After hearing through the grapevine that the glamorous Charlotte Tilbury was going to be brushing shoulders with beauty fans at a local Fenwick department store, me and my friend Natalie booked tickets straight away. With only 80 tickets available we had to be quick if we wanted to meet and have a chat to Tilbury in the flesh. Celebrating the release of her new instant look in a palette, the British makeup artist came to meet fans, sign some beauty boxes and recommend her products to us. I’ll be honest, before attending the event, I’d never tried any of her products before. However the price we paid for the ticket was redeemable off the products so to me it seemed like a great opportunity to learn more about makeup and have a world-renowned artist recommend makeup products to enhance my face.  View Post

Ladykin Blueberry Foam Cleanser

I was shopping online at Beauty Bay a few weeks and came across some beauty products from the Korean brand, Ladykin. Korean beauty brands have been widely and highly spoken of recently so I thought I’d take the opportunity to try some for myself. I was in need of a new cleanser to team up with my Magnitone cleansing brush and the pretty packaging of the purity foam cleanser jumped out at me in the product listing. View Post
