As I mentioned a couple of months a go, I’m bringing my A game this year when it comes to my fitness. Every now and then I fall off track due to being too busy or from lack of motivation so I wanted to share some of my biggest inspirations when it comes to health, fitness and nutrition. I often find myself trawling through the Instagram profiles of fitness professionals and thought I would share some of my favourites with you all and share the love!
First up, there’s Kayla who introduced me to interval training which is by far my favourite type of exercise. I began her BBG training guides and although I didn’t see them through to the end (oopsie!), I believe they have inspired me to create my own HIIT routines using some of her exercises as a guide. I also love how she regularly posts transformation pictures of her clients on Facebook; it definitely gives you a kick up the butt!
My biggest girl crush at the moment is Emily Skye, I’m not sure if it’s her Aussie accent or her amazing bum that has me stalking her all of the time! She posts a lot of motivational quotes and stories about her own life as well as funny meme’s to show us that we are only human and can still indulge when we want. When I’m stuck for what to train in the gym, I love watching Emily’s workout videos on Facebook.
The Body Coach
Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, is best known for his 90DAYSSS plan. I love watching his videos on Instagram which show him making lean, clean meals in a 15 second clip. The #LeanIn15 videos give me inspiration for my own healthy meals and they’re quite funny to watch. The Body Coach is also following me on Twitter which makes me feel like I have to be good because he’s watching me! Haha
Fellow blogger, Em Sheldon, has such an envious Instagram feed I just can’t steer myself away from it; she’s always flaunting her amazing abs and I don’t even blame her! Whether she’s showing off a new swimsuit or posting a pre-workout selfie, her Instagram is definitely one to follow! Em has been working alongside Adidas over the past few months by featuring in their AW15 lookbook and coming up with some cool new workouts.
Heidi Somers is Buff Bunny and her bum is out of this world! I’ve been training my glutes a lot more lately and Heidi shares some great tips on how to do it. I recently came across her YouTube channel where she vlogs her workouts, meals and fitness tips and find it really useful. Buffy Bunny is also on Instagram if you want to catch some shorter video clips and inspirational photos.
