With a matter of days now until I jet off to Turkey, I decided to head down to Primark for some last minute holiday bits. I always end up forgetting something but this year I’ve tried my best to be organised with my packing in hope to prevent over-packing my suitcase with unnecessary stuff and forgetting those niggley essentials. Spending less than £20, I thought I’d write a post to show you what I bought to hopefully stop you from forgetting anything on your own holidays this summer.
Hair Scarf £1.50 | Hair Bobbles £1.00 | Hair Grips £1.00 | Face Masks 3x 90p | Face Sponges £1.50 | Exfoliating Gloves £1.00 | Sunglasses £2 | Pyjamas £5 | Canvas Bag £1.50 | Body Spray £1.50
My long, thick hair is the bane of my life in the summer so I do everything I can to keep it out of my face in the heat. This means carrying lots of bobbles and hair grips with me because no matter how many I take with me, they always seem to go walkies!
Although I live in my trusty Ray-Bans all summer long, I decided to buy a pair of cheap wayfarers that I can wear in the sea and in the pool because my eyes get so sensitive to the light! This way I don’t have to worry about breaking or losing them. As for the short pyjamas, they are a must in hot weather and are usually something I end up forgetting.
The exfoliating gloves are to help smooth my skin and remove the dead skin from my body. I decided to buy some cheap face sponges to apply my foundation whilst I’m away for a smooth, flawless finish.
I picked up the canvas bag (which I think describes me pretty well!) to carry my belongings whilst we walk around and head to the beach during the day. The fruity body spray smells amazing so I’ll be using that to freshen up after a day of sunbathing.
I won’t be taking my facemasks along with me but they will help me relax before I go because although I’m fairly organised, I probably won’t start my packing until the very last minute.
Are you going on holiday this year? What things do you usually forget to take?
