Last week I attended the launch party of Psyche’s brand new eCommerce site on behalf of Visualsoft. In just 13 weeks, Visualsoft has managed to design and launch the new website for the local fashion department store which is a massive achievement. Competing with the elite including Harrods and Selfridges, Psyche has won a number of recognisable awards which include the title of Retailer of the Year by FHM and GQ magazine’s Best Menswear Shop. To rival its competitors, Psyche decided to create a bigger and better online platform for customers to buy from.
Guests of the launch party included staff from both Psyche and Visualsoft, Visualsoft’s partners including Google, PayPal, Amazon and Barclaycard, local bloggers, representatives from fashion giants, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Penguin and many more. Over 500 people attended the event which was a massive success.
Upon arrival, we had our names ticked off the guest list and stopped for a quick snap. We then made our way to the second floor to enjoy a complementary tipple and a bite to eat. I must say, the finger food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. My sweet tooth took over which resulted in me heading back for more.
We were treated to a catwalk show which showcased the latest fashions from Psyche’s SS15 collection – this included outfits from the men’s, women’s and children’s range. I loved the bold coloured accessories and the floral prints; it made me excited for summer! The best part about the catwalk show was when the young models walked out with a gorgeous little pooch!
After the catwalk, we headed back upstairs where the drinks continued to flow and we could chat amongst ourselves whilst a cool jazz band played behind us. We also took part in a charity raffle and an auction to raise funds for Psyche’s chosen charity, South Cleveland Heart Foundation who are trying to buy MRI scanners to treat people with heart disease .
I really enjoyed the Psyche site launch event and felt like it was a huge success! Psyche pulled out all of the stops with delicious food and drinks, good music and great company. It was great to see such a diverse range of people come together to celebrate and show their support for a successful local company.
I left the event around 9pm with my team from VS where we headed across the road to the Purple Pig to finish off the fun-filled night. We all tucked into burgers, chips and cocktails which went down a treat.
